ECD Automotive Design Inc. (ECDA) announced it has engaged Arca Labs LLC to provide operational consulting services for the company’s bitcoin treasury initiative.
The luxury vehicle restoration company said Arca Labs will assist in establishing a corporate account with a qualified digital-asset custodian, including support with documentation, onboarding, and security protocols for digital-asset custody and transaction execution.
"Our collaboration with Arca Labs underscores ECD’s commitment to executing our Bitcoin treasury strategy with the same discipline and precision that define how we build our vehicles," said Vicky Hay, Chief Financial Officer of ECD Automotive Design.
The company specified that Arca Labs will provide non-discretionary operational support only and will not assist in purchasing assets, handling funds or securities, provide investment advice, or exercise trading discretion.
ECD, based in Kissimmee, Florida, restores Land Rover Defenders, Range Rovers, Jaguar E-Types, Ford Mustangs and Toyota FJs. The company operates from a 100,000-square-foot facility with 102 staff members, including 67 craftsmen and technicians.
Arca Labs is the innovation division of Arca and specializes in guiding companies in digital asset and tokenization strategies. The firm provides operational support services throughout the lifecycle of digital assets, including due diligence and advisory services.
The engagement represents the next phase of digital-asset and treasury initiatives that ECD announced earlier this year, according to the company’s press release.
