Webus International Limited (WETO) announced that its Wetour mobile web platform now accepts XRP token and Ripple USD (RLUSD) stablecoin payments. The mobility services company said travelers can use these cryptocurrencies to purchase product vouchers and promotional coupons on the platform.

The payment integration automatically links crypto transactions to user account benefits and activity profiles. Webus said the feature aims to provide faster checkout and reduced settlement friction across its chauffeur, charter, and curated experience services.

"Bringing XRP token and RLUSD to Wetour’s mobile web streamlines checkout and immediately credits vouchers or coupons to the traveler’s account," said Nan Zheng, Chief Executive Officer of Webus. "Crucially, XRP token- or RLUSD-based activity now ties directly to users’ benefit tiers and targeted promotions, aligning crypto adoption with tangible, day-to-day value."

The feature will be available in eligible jurisdictions and expand in phases, according to the company. Usage remains subject to local laws, KYC/AML requirements, and Wetour voucher terms.

Webus provides AI-driven mobility solutions specializing in premium chauffeur services worldwide. The company operates through a Mobility-as-a-Service model, offering airport transfers, intercity transportation, private tours, and luxury charter services through its Wetour brand.

The company included standard disclaimers about digital asset volatility and advised users to evaluate risks and local regulations before transacting. Information in this article is based on a company press release.
