Consumers’ evaluations of the current economic climate fell by 4.9 points, while their expectations for future economic conditions decreased by 4.6 points.
Polish households also became less optimistic about their personal finances, with assessments of current financial conditions declining by 2.1 points and expectations for future financial prospects falling by 1.7 points.
The only positive component in the report was a slight 0.3-point improvement in the evaluation of purchasing opportunities, suggesting some resilience in consumer spending capacity despite broader concerns.
The Leading Consumer Confidence Index (WWUK), which measures expectations for individual consumption in the coming months, also declined by 2.3 points to minus 6.6.
