Investing.com - U.S. stock futures were little changed during Monday's overnight deals, following a flat session for major benchmarks, as investors looked ahead to the start of the Federal Reserve’s two-day September policy meeting.
By 6:45pm ET (10:45pm GMT) Dow Jones Futures were flat while, S&P 500 Futures and Nasdaq 100 Futures ticked up by 0.1%.
Ahead in Tuesday's trade, housing starts and preliminary building permits will be closely monitored by market participants, ahead of the Federal Reserve's key interest rate decision and statement later this week.
Among earnings, companies including AutoZone Inc (NYSE:AZO), Endava Ltd (NYSE:DAVA), Apogee Enterprises Inc (NASDAQ:APOG) and Steelcase Inc (NYSE:SCS) are scheduled to report quarterly results.
During Monday's regular session the Dow Jones Industrial Average and NASDAQ Composite finished flat at 34,624.3 and 13,710.2 respectively while the S&P 500 gained 3.2 points or 0.1% to 4,453.5.
On the bond markets, United States 10-Year rates were at 4.301%.
