Investing.com - U.S. stock futures were trading higher during Tuesday’s evening deals, after major benchmark averages lifted during the regular session as Goldman Sachs Group Inc (NYSE:GS) and Lockheed Martin Corporation (NYSE:LMT) boosted sentiment after surpassing earnings expectations.
By 19:05 ET (23:05 GMT) Dow Jones Futures were up 0.5%, S&P 500 Futures gained 0.8%, and Nasdaq 100 Futures lifted 1.2%.
In extended deals, Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) added 14% as the company reported Q3 EPS of $3.10, beating estimates of $2.18, while revenue was reported at $7.93 billion versus $7.85 billion expected.
United Airlines Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:UAL) gained 6.3% after reporting Q3 EPS of $2.81, better than $2.24 expected. Revenue came in at $12.9 billion versus $12.72 billion expected.
Intuitive Surgical (NASDAQ:ISRG) lifted 11.6% after the company reported Q3 EPS of $1.19, beating estimates of $1.12, while revenue came in at $1.56 billion versus $1.51 billion expected.
Ahead in Wednesday’s session, market participants will be looking toward fresh housing starts data as well as results from major technology companies International Business Machines (NYSE:IBM) and Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA).
During Tuesday’s regular session, the Dow Jones Industrial Average added 338 points or 1.1% to 30,523.8, the S&P 500 gained 42 points or 1.1% to 3,720, and the NASDAQ Composite gained 96.6 points or 0.9% to 10,772.4.
On the bond markets, United States 10-Year rates were at 4.007%.
