Biography Mr. Dwane is CIO Equity Europe with Allianz Global Investors, which he joined in 2001. He is responsible for equity portfolio management, research and trading activities in Frankfurt, Paris and London, overseeing 130 investment professionals and EUR 63 billion in assets under management. Mr. Dwane is a member of the firm’s European Executive Committee and the chairperson of the European Equity Management Group. As a portfolio manager, he manages nearly EUR 4 billion in assets for the firm. Mr. Dwane has 26 years of investment-industry experience. He previously worked at JP Morgan Investment Management as a UK and European specialist portfolio manager. Before that, Mr. Dwane worked at Fleming Investment Management and at Kleinwort Benson Investment Management as an analyst and a fund manager. He has a B.A. in classics from Durham University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
