Biography Jamie joined AXA Framlington in November 2006 and is a fund manager covering UK Growth. Prior to a career in asset management, Jamie worked for Barclays plc for 8 years as a senior corporate advances analyst. Chris joined Aviva Investors in 2006 from Framlington Investment Management where he was responsible for managing the firm’s UK income and growth retail portfolios. Chris began his investment career in 1988 as a graduate UK equity analyst for Lehman Bros before joining James Capel in UK equity analyst role. Chris holds a BSc (Hons) in Physics from University College, Cardiff and holds the IIMR (Institute of Investment Management Research) qualification.
Nigel Thomas Portfolio Manager 2006 2006
Biography Nigel joined AXA Framlington in 2002. He is the lead manager for the AXA Framlington UK Select Opportunities Fund. He trained as an accountant with Robson Rhodes, leaving to join Carrington Pembroke (subsequently ABN AMRO and now Artemis Unit Trust Managers) as a Private Client Portfolio Manager. He subsequently joined Hill Samuel to run the Hill Samuel Smaller Companies Unit Trust for two years before rejoining Carrington Pembroke in 1986, launching and managing their UK Growth Fund. Nigel graduated from University College London with a degree in Economics and Geography in 1976.
