Biography Steve Magill is Co-Head of the Global Equity team. In his role, Steve has oversight over all Global, Europe and US Equity strategies managed by the team. He also serves as Lead PM for a range of flagship strategies across our ESG Integrated and Sustainable product shelf. Steve initially joined UBS Asset Management in 1986, before taking a career break to study. He re-joined as a UK Equity Portfolio Manager after gaining a First-Class degree in Accounting. Having successfully built a track record as a PM, Steve became a senior European Healthcare analyst, progressing rapidly to take on the role of Deputy Head of Pan-European Research in 2007 and lead the Global Healthcare team. In 2017, his responsibilities were extended to managing the European Equity Value strategies. The team expanded its scope to Global equities in 2022 with the launch of the Global Equity Value strategy and began managing sustainable strategies in 2024. In 2025, when the Global Equity and Value teams were merged, Steve was promoted to Co-Head of the team, being responsible for all aspects of portfolio management. Steve is a Regular Member of the CFA Society of the UK and the CFA Institute.

Biography Robert (Ted) Holmes is Head of European Equities at UBS Asset Management. In this role he is responsible for Core European Equity portfolio construction and research and, since June 2010, oversight of other European Core/Value Equity strategies. Ted transferred to the European Equity team at the beginning of 2008 as a Senior Portfolio Manager and was appointed Head of European Equities in March 2008. Prior to transferring to the European Equity team, Ted was one of the firm’s most senior and experienced analysts in the US team. His main focus was on technology stocks where he built a strong track record in analyzing and selecting companies across the sector. Ted has also played a pivotal role in establishing and defining standards across the global research platform. Ted joined UBS Asset Management in 1997 having previously worked as an auditor with Ernst & Young. Ted is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the CFA Institute.

Biography Paul Fairbrother, ASIP, is an investment officer and institutional equity portfolio manager at MFS Investment Management® (MFS®). In this role, he participates in the research process and strategy discussions, assesses portfolio risk, customizes portfolios to client objectives and guidelines, and manages daily cash flows. He is also responsible for communicating investment policy, strategy and positioning. He is based in London. Paul joined MFS in 2019 in his current role after five years at Sarasin & Partners as a business partner and client account director. Prior to that, he served as a European equity portfolio manager, European equity analyst and UK equity portfolio manager for UBS Asset Management over the course of his 21‐year tenure there. He began his career in the financial services industry in 1993. Paul earned a bachelor's degree in business economics from the University of Reading. He is a member of the CFA Institute and an Associate of the CFA Society of the UK (ASIP).
