Biography Kustaa Äimä, Managing partner and founding shareholder of KJK Group, holds a Masters degree in economics (1997) from the University of Helsinki, Finland. Before launching KJK Capital Oy and KJK Management S.A. in 2010, he gained fifteen (15) years of professional experience in various leading financial institutions including Danske Bank’s and ING Group’s investment management operations with a continued focus on emerging markets of Eastern Europe. Besides his involvement in managing KJK Fund SICAV-SIF and KJK Fund II SICAV-SIF, Kustaa also acts as a management board member and chief investment officer for the investment vehicles Amber Trust S.C.A., SICAF-SIF, and Amber Trust II S.C.A., SICAR, both designated for investments in the Baltic countries. Furthermore, he serves as a director or board member of several companies across the Baltic countries, Balkan region and Finland, including Tallink Group, Salva Insurance, Toode, Kovinoplastika, Iskra ISD, PR Foods, Baltika, Baltic Mill, in addition to several investment companies and investment funds domiciled in Finland, Slovenia, Estonia and Luxembourg.

Biography Kari Salonen holds an economics degree. Before co-launching KJK Group, Kari gained over 23 years of professional experience from various leading financial institutions including Kansallis-Osake-Pankki´s, ING Group´s and Danske Capital´s investment management operations. In Danske Capital he worked as fund manager and co-fund manager of several emerging Europe equity funds domiciled in both Finland and Luxembourg. Before Danske Kari was part of many of the pioneering international investments in to the Baltic securities from 1993 onwards. In addition, he co-launched and co-managed a Balkan fund already in 2004 with a focus on Romania, Bulgaria and the former Yugoslavian countries. He serves as a member of several KJK related companies domiciled in Finland, Luxembourg and Baltics.
