Biography | Richard Berger joined Pioneer in 2006. He is Chief Investment Officer and Chair of the Fund of Hedge Funds Investment Committee. Additionally, Richard is also a member of the global Investment Management Committee. Prior to joining Pioneer Richard worked for Olympia Capital Management as Head of Research and was a member of the fund of funds investment committee. His primary responsibilities included leading the research team and the bottom-up selection across all strategies worldwide, being directly in charge of the quantitative and equity derivatives strategies and supporting the sales team. Prior to his fund of funds’ experience, Richard was an equity derivatives proprietary trader at Credit Suisse First Boston and BNP Paribas, on Index and Stock Options across the European markets. Richard has over 18 years’ experience in the industry and received a Masters Degree in Finance from ESSEC (Ecole Superieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales), graduate school of management. |
