Biography	Steven M. Hlavin is Managing Director and Portfolio Manager for Nuveen Asset Management. Prior to his current position, Mr. Hlavin worked as a senior analyst responsible for the risk management and performance reporting process for Nuveen Asset Management. Mr. Hlavin joined an affiliate of Nuveen Asset Management in 2003. Mr. Hlavin earned a BA in finance and accounting and an MBA in finance from Miami University. He has been a speaker at the Leveraging Performance Attribution Analysis for Fixed Income Investments Conference series.

Biography	Scott manages several state-specific, tax-exempt portfolios, including the California Municipal Bond and the New York Municipal Bond Strategies. He also serves as portfolio manager for a number of closed-end funds.

Biography	Davern joined Nuveen Advisory as a vice president and portfolio manager in 1992. Previously, he spent three years as an assistant vice president and senior credit analyst with Van Kampen Merritt, and five years as a senior municipal analyst with FUJI Bank. Davern is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of both the National Association of Municipal Analysts and the Association for Investment Management and Research.
