Naidoo was a founding member of SMMI in 2002, and an integral part of the establishment of the South African operations of Sanlam's multi-manager business. Previously, Nersan was the Executive Director for SMMI London, Nersan was responsibile for the manager research and portfolio management functions in South Africa along with extensive involvement in business development for retail and institutional clients. His experience spans investment management, building the quantitative process and manager research platform, as well as participating in business development to the retail and institutional market. Nersan completed his graduate training at UBS Warburg.

Biography Hendrik has many years of experience in the Investment Management Industry, starting his investment management career in 1991. He managed a range of international and SA funds. He was based in London, UK for six years since 1996 and returned to South Africa in 2002. Previously managing director of Sanlam Multi-Managers and currently head of retail investments of Sanlam Investment Management. Prior to joining Sanlam Investment Management in 2005 he was instrumental in establishing Sanlam's Multi Manager business. Prior to this Hendrik was a Senior Equity Analyst and Fund Manager at Fidelity Investments.
