Sonja Laud (née Schemmann) Portfolio Manager 2006 2010
Biography Sonja is ISF Global Equity Yield and Schroder ISF European Equity Yield Fund manager, based in London and joined Schroders in 2005. In 2001 Sonja joined DWS Investment GmbH, Frankfurt. During her time there she worked as a senior fund manager in Global Equities. From 1996 – 2001 she held various internships in France, UK and Germany. These were with IBM Consulting, DWS Investment, Morgan Stanley, Arthur Andersen and Mannesmann Mobilfunk. Sonja is also a CFA charterholder.
David King Head 2002 2006
Biography David King, Head of Schroders Multi-Asset Quantitative Research Team, will assume management responsibility. David has 20 years industry experience which includes the management of asset allocation strategies, active equity strategies and passive investment. He joined the Schroders Quantitative Equity Products (QEP) team in 2000. At various stages, whilst working within the QEP team, David assumed responsibility for managing European, Global and North American Equity portfolios. These included Schroder ISF* European Equity Sigma, Schroders Balanced Global Fund and Schroder ISF* North American Equity. Prior to joining Schroders, David held various positions at AMP Henderson Global Investors, where he was a member of teams that managed equity and balanced mandates. He also helped establish, and subsequently managed, the AMP World Index Fund. David has both a BSc and MSc in Mathematics from the University of Warwick.
Chris Taylor Head 1998 2006
Biography Chris has nearly 40 years’ investment experience and manages the Liontrust Japan Opportunities Fund and Japan Equity Fund, both of which he ran at Neptune Investment Management before moving over to Liontrust in October 2019. Before joining Neptune in 2004, he worked as Managing Director at Fuji Investment Management. Chris graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Physiological Sciences and from the City University Business School with an MBA in Finance.
