Carlos é graduado em Administração de Empresas e possui Pós-Graduação em Marketing pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUC-RS), Porto Alegre, Brasil. Além de ser o gestor credenciado pela CVM, Carlos é CTA (commodity trading advisor) nos EUA. Carlos é casado, pai de dois filhos, e um entusiasta do tênis, da vela e do ciclismo.
