Biography	Tineke joined the UK equity team at Smith & Williamson in July 2013, primarily to manage the UK Equity Income Trust. She joined from BNY Mellon where she spent almost 15 years in the investment department. She managed the Newton Higher Income Fund from April 2004 to December 2012 and during that time won a number of performance accolades. Tineke grew up in the Netherlands and completed a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences at Zuyd University. She also has an MBA from City Business School in London and is a CFA Charterholder.
