Mali 2019/20 grains output forecast to rise 6 pct

BAMAKO, May 20 (Reuters) -
* Mali grain production expected to hit 11.12 million tonnes
(mt) in the 2019/20 season, up 6 percent from 10.45 mt the
previous year, the agriculture ministry said on Monday.
* Production is expected to be boosted by good rainfall,
introduction of subsidised fertilisers and the continuation of
an agricultural equipment programme, the ministry said.

season, which begins in April, all measurements in tonnes:
