Nov 16 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening 44
points higher at 6,361 on Monday, according to financial bookmakers, with
futures up 0.75% ahead of cash market open.

* VODAFONE: Vodafone Group VOD.L , the world's second-largest mobile
operator, said it was increasingly confident about its full-year performance
after a "resilient" first-half, despite underlying momentum being obscured by
the impact of COVID-19. * GOLD: Gold prices touched a one-week high propped up by a weaker dollar,
while mounting U.S. coronavirus cases escalated concerns of the pandemic's
impact on economic recovery underpinning hopes of further monetary
stimulus. * OIL: Oil prices climbed, recouping some losses from the previous session
as hopes that OPEC+ will hold current output curbs offset concerns about weaker
fuel demand due to rising COVID-19 cases and higher production from
Libya. * The UK blue-chip index .FTSE closed 0.4% lower on Friday on concerns
over rising COVID-19 infections and as a stronger pound pressured exporters,
although the index still logged its best weekly gain since April on hopes of an
effective vaccine. For more on the factors affecting European stocks, please click on:
