The Wholesale Price Index (WPI) reports the change in price of goods sold by German wholesalers. It is one of a number of leading indicators of consumer price inflation.

A reading that is stronger than forecast is generally supportive (bullish) for the EUR, while a weaker than forecast reading is generally negative (bearish) for the EUR.
