Prior to joining AEIM in 2009, he was a Vice President - head of equity research at NCB Capital, the securities arm of Saudi Arabia’s largest bank, where he focused on building their MENA institutional research division. Prior to that position, he was the head of research and a member of the investment committee at Securities and Investment Co (SICO), a Bahrain-based investment bank, focusing on GCC equity markets. He was earlier the Investment Strategist within the institutional equities team at B&K Securities in India, as well as an Asiamoney rated banking analyst. He holds a B.Commerce (Honors in Taxation) from Mumbai University, and an M.B.A. (Finance) from the Goa Institute of Management. He is a CFA Charterholder.

Biography	Mr. Alejandro Garza Salaza is the Founder and serves as Chief Investment Officer, Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at AZTLAN Equity Management. Previously, he worked with Ashmore Equities US LLC as Portfolio Manager and Director of Research. He is an investment professional with more than 20 years of experience in investment management, M&A, corporate finance, and business strategy. He has done his MBA from Technologico de Monterrey and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Technologico de Monterrey.

Biography	Peter Trofimenko is the Portfolio Manager responsible for Central Europe, Russia, and South Africa. He also follows the banking, finance, and pharmaceuticals sectors. Mr. Trofimenko also has experience with the Firm as an Analyst in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia Prior to joining EMM, he was an Assistant Professor at the Ukrainian Institute of International Relations of Kiev State University, a principal in Vecoba Trust Company, and an editor for Fortune Business Weekly. Mr. Trofimenko has an M.A. and a PhD from Kiev State University.

Biography	John DiTieri is the Co-Portfolio Manager of Ashmore EMM, L.L.C. He has experience at Ashmore EMM as a Portfolio Accountant. Prior to joining AshmoreEMM in 1990, he was an Auditor for Spicer & Oppenheimer. Mr. DiTieri holds a B.A. in Accounting from Adelphi University.
