Mr. Neumann became an employee of BlackRock, Inc. upon its succession in 2005 to the business of State Research & Management Company where he was a Vice President and fixed income analyst, and responsible for coverage of the electric utility, natural gas distribution and pipeline sectors. From 1999 to 2004, he was with Bank of America Securities LLC as an equity research associate focusing on the energy sector. He began his career with PaineWebber Incorporated in 1997 as an investment banking analyst. Mr. Neumann holds a BA in economics and English from Boston College (1997).
