Biography Richard Thies is the lead portfolio manager of the Driehaus Global strategy and a portfolio manager for the Driehaus Emerging Markets Growth and Driehaus Emerging Markets Small Cap Equity strategies. Mr. Thies leads the Driehaus Emerging Markets team’s coverage of the financial sector and has primary responsibility for macroeconomic analysis. His macroeconomic analysis, idea generation, security analysis, portfolio construction, and risk management responsibilities are leveraged across the strategies managed by the Driehaus Emerging Markets team. Additionally, he serves on DCM's executive committee. Mr. Thies has spent his entire career focused on emerging markets. Prior to joining DCM in 2011, he worked as an international economist covering emerging markets at The Northern Trust. In advance of his time at The Northern Trust, Mr. Thies worked in microfinance banking in sub-Saharan Africa with both the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank Group and Opportunity International. Mr. Thies received his Bachelor of Arts in international studies from Emory University in 2005 and his Master of Arts degree focused on international political economy from the University of Chicago in 2007.

Biography Chad Cleaver, CFA, is the Portfolio Manager for the Emerging Markets Small Cap Growth and Frontier Markets strategies and a portfolio manager for the Emerging Markets strategy. In his role, he has responsibility for the strategy's portfolio construction, risk management and buy/ sell decisions. In his role as portfolio manager, he is responsible for idea generation, portfolio construction, security selection and investment research. He began his career with the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. He joined Driehaus in 2004 as an investment analyst prior to assuming assistant portfolio management responsibilities on May 1, 2008. Mr. Cleaver received his A.B. in Economics in 2000 from Wabash College. He earned his M.B.A. degree in 2004 from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Mr. Cleaver is a CFA charterholder.

Biography Howard Schwab has been a portfolio manager since August 2007 and became the lead portfolio manager on May 1, 2012. Mr. Schwab has responsibility for making investment decisions. Mr. Schwab joined the Driehaus Capital Manangement LLC in 2001 upon completion of his B.A. degree in Economics from Denison University. Prior to assuming portfolio manager responsibilities for certain of the Driehaus Capital Manangement LLC’s international strategies, Mr. Schwab was an international equity analyst for the Driehaus Capital Manangement LLC.

Biography Rea originally worked for the Adviser as a domestic research analyst beginning in 1997, following a position in corporate finance at GE Capital Corporation. He was named portfolio manager of the Driehaus in November 1998. In March 2000, Rea joined BlackRock, Inc., where he was a senior equity analyst and portfolio manager. In February 2005, he joined Franklin Templeton Investments as a senior equity analyst and sector leader on Global Large Cap Growth team until he rejoined the Adviser in April 2006.
Emery R. Brewer international securities Analyst, Portfolio Manager 1997 2008
Biography Emery Brewer is Senior Fund Manager of JOHCM and joined JOHCM in March 2010, following a brief retirement from 2008-2010. He has over 15 years of experience in Emerging Markets equity fund management, gained while working at Driehaus Capital Management from 1997 to 2007. In December 1997, Emery founded the Driehaus Capital Management Emerging Markets Growth Fund which he managed for ten years until he left Driehaus in December 2007. In 1998, he founded the Driehaus International Discovery Fund. Prior to this, he was an analyst and manager for the Driehaus East Europe Fund.
