Biography	Waldorf joined First Investors Management as a portfolio manager in April 1992. He has also worked as a part-time professor at City University of New York since 1988. Previously, Waldorf spent four years in institutional fixed-income sales, and four years as a fixed-income strategist, both with Prudential Securities. He was also the fixed-income strategist at Paribas/Becker from 1980 to 1984. Waldorf seeks to maximize interest income within interest-rate forecasts.

Biography	Burns joined First Investors Management Company in May 1984 and is now a vice president and portfolio manager. Before joining the firm, she was a portfolio manager for the Wilbro Fund and worked in institutional option sales for Kidder Peabody and Merrill Lynch. Burns is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a member of the Association for Investment Management and Research, and a past vice president and treasurer of the New York Options & Futures Society.
