Biography G. Paul Matthews is lead manager of GGOF Asian Growth and Income Fund. He has actively been managing Asian markets since 1982. Mr. Matthews is Chairman, Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager of Matthews International Capital Management which he founded in 1991. He was named Manager of the Year in 2000 by The Value Line Investment Survey.
Carol Chuang Vice President, Senior Portfolio Manager 1995 1996
Biography Chuang is a vice president and senior portfolio manager with Matthews International Capital Management, her employer since January 1994. Prior to joining the company, she served as president of JYCP Investment Management for two years. From 1990 to 1992, Chuang served as an assistant director and investment manager with Prudential Asia Fund Management in Hong Kong. She also spent two years as an analyst with Baring Securities in Hong Kong.
