Biography | Mr. Tisné is managing partner at Moneda Asset Management since 2006. He began with the company in 1994 as an investment analyst, and in 1999 was responsible for the development of the Moneda Deuda Latinoamericana Fund, one of the first funds in the world dedicated to high yield corporate fixed income securities in Latin America. The fund began operations in 2000 and with Mr. Tisné as the Portfolio Manager the strategy has grown to over USD 1.3 billion in assets under management. In 2013 he was selected as the world’s best emerging-market bond fund with a 371% return in the past 10 years (Bloomberg, May 2013). Today Mr. Tisné is responsible for all the fixed income strategies at Moneda Asset Management which currently exceeds USD 1.8 billion. This includes Moneda Deuda Latinoamericana and Moneda Latinoamericana Deuda Local funds (incorporated in Chile and actively traded on the Chilean Stock Exchange), Moneda Renta CLP, and the Moneda Latin American Corporate Debt fund (a mirror fund of Moneda Deuda Latinoamericana incorporated in the Cayman Islands). Since 2011 he has been president of the Chilean Investment Funds Association (ACAFI) and Toesca S.A. AFI. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Moneda Asset Management S.A., Energía Latina S.A. and Termocandelaria Power Limited among others.
