Biography | James manages the AIMS Fixed Income and AIMS Target Return Funds. He also leads our rates team. James is a permanent member of the Strategic Investment Group (‘SIG’), where all investment ideas that are proposed for inclusion in the AIMS portfolios are rigorously debated. Prior to joining Aviva Investors, James worked at Henderson Global Investors where he was Head of Interest Rates with a focus on alpha generation in the benchmark agnostic product offering. Biography | Cedric Scholtes. Mr. Scholtes is Portfolio Manager and responsible for the day-to-day management of the American Independence U.S. Inflation-Protected Fund. He joined FFTW in June 2006 as a portfolio manager in the Governments and Inflation Team. He manages interest rate businesses with an emphasis on FFTW's central bank portfolios. Mr. Scholtes came from Goldman Sachs where he was a vice president in the Inflation Trading Group, Fixed Income Commodities & Currencies Division. His responsibilities included formulating and implementing trading strategies, making markets in inflation-linked securities and building inflation-market analytical tools. Before Goldman Sachs, he spent six years as a trader/analyst at both the Bank of England, where he worked on the Foreign Exchange Reserves Management Staff, and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York on the Treasury Market Policy Staff. Mr. Scholtes holds a Masters degree in Finance and Economics from Warwick Business School, a Masters in Economics from the London School of Economics, and an M.A./B.A. in economics from the University of Cambridge. | ||

Biography | David is a managing director for Guardian Life and head of public fixed income investment strategy. He has many years experience in fixed income portfolio management with leadership positions in corporate credit, mortgage-backed securities as well as global developed and emerging markets. Prior to joining Guardian Life, David served as Head of Global Portfolios and US Core Portfolio Management at Fischer Francis Trees & Watts and held analyst and research positions at Chase, First Boston, and Yamaichi International in futures and options. David holds a B.A. in economics from Alma College, and an M.A. in economics from Duke University. | ||

Biography | John Carey is Managing Director, Portfolio Manager, and Director of Equity Income, US. He leads a team that manages US dividend equity strategies and is a member of a team managing a US large-cap core strategy for retail and institutional clients, which includes an ESG mandate. John is a member of the US Investment Committee and US Operating Committee at Amundi US. He is a frequent media commentator on US equity markets and meets often with investors to discuss the economy and markets. John began his investment career in 1979 when he joined Amundi US. During his career with the company, he has analyzed many industries, including publishing, media, and autos. His previous experience includes consulting and venture capital as well as teaching. John holds a B.A. from Columbia University and an A.M. and Ph.D. from Harvard University. He is a CFA® charterholder. |
