In 1993 she settled in Scotland, working for Scottish Mutual running Far Eastern portfolios. Magdalene joined Standard Life in September 1995 as Far East Investment Manager in charge of retail funds. She’s fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English, and has travelled extensively in Asia.
