Dave is one of only a handful of active portfolio managers in the world that has researched, constructed, implemented and actively managed significant assets in the low volatility equity space. With the ever-increasing attention givento low volatility investing, Dave's techniques and strategies continue to provide new insight to professional asset management. Throughout Dave's career, he has established himself as an expert in investment technology and quantitative research. In his spare time, Dave enjoys spending time with his family and supporting the local wrestling community.

Biography Mr. Hanna joined Summit Global Investments, LLC in 2017 as a Portfolio Manager. At the firm, Mr. Hanna focuses on all aspects of the investment process with a primary focus on quantitative investment management. Some of Mr. Hanna’s key responsibilities are factor research, optimization methodologies, asset allocation, and portfolio risk management. Mr. Hanna was previously employed at Raymond James for over 10 years in the Asset Management Services. Mr. Hanna’s role as an officer involved leading research on asset allocation, risk management, and global market analysis on over $35 billion. Mr. Hanna earned his Master of Science in Finance from the University of Tampa. He is a CFA Charterholder, Certified FRM, and CAIA Charterholder.

Biography Rick C. Jaster is a founding partner and Chief Investment Officer of both QBI Financial, LLC (“QBI”) and Asset Growth Partners, LLC (“AGP”). With over 20 years of investment experience, Rick oversees QBI’s investment process and investment team. Rick is a member of the AGP and QBI Executive Committees and QBI Investment Committee. He continues to actively manage QBI portfolios and direct the research activities used to enhance QBI’s investment approach. Rick has led the investment process since the founding of QBI’s investment philosophy, Quality Beta at a Reasonable Price (QBARP), in 2012. Rick is also responsible for the QBI solutions business, iSteps Financial. Earlier in his career, Rick served as a portfolio manager for Ensign Peak Advisors, an endowment. Rick’s background includes risk parity analysis and portfolio construction, as well as managing equity portfolios across the capitalization spectrum emphasizing active global low volatility equity strategies. Rick is a proponent of socially responsible investing, which is reflected in QBI’s “Socially Responsible Quality Beta at a Reasonable Price” screens that exclude the equities of businesses in the alcohol, tobacco, gaming and pornography industries from certain of QBI’s investment strategies.
