Investing.com - U.S. crude stockpiles rose by 4.2 million barrels last week, according to an estimate from the American Petroleum Institute released Wednesday.
- The API said crude inventories rose by 4.2 million for the week ended Feb. 14.
- Analysts expect that the Energy Information Administration will report a build of 2.5 million barrels when it issues numbers tomorrow morning. The EIA numbers are due at 11:00 AM ET (16:00 GMT).
WTI futures were up $1.40 a barrel, 2.7%, following the release, after settling up $1.24 a barrel today in regular trading.
