Investing.com - Lam Research (NASDAQ:LRCX) reported Wednesday third-quarter results that beat analysts' forecasts and delivered a brighter outlook for the final quarter of its fiscal year, underpinned by a strong wafer fabrication spending environment.
For Q4, Lam guided EPS in the range of $7.00 to $8.00 on revenue of $3.75B to 4.25B versus consensus for EPS of $6.6 on revenue of $3.72B.
Lam Research shares gained 1.36% in after-hours trade following the report.
Lam Research announced earnings per share of $7.49 on revenue of $3.85B. Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated EPS of $6.6 on revenue of $3.71B.
"Lam’s growth trajectory continues with record revenue and earnings per share delivered in the March quarter,” said Tim Archer, Lam Research’s president and chief executive officer.
