LONDON, Nov 17 (Reuters) - Angola on Tuesday updated its
preliminary programme for exports in January, adding four
cargoes to a provisional list of 34 cargoes circulated the day
before.
ANGOLA
* 38 cargoes will be exported in January, the export
programme published by Sonangol said, unchanged from the
previous month.
* The list adds two cargoes of Sangos crude and two of
Olombendo to an earlier version of the programme.
* Loadings of Cabinda and Kissanje crude - which have
fetched relatively high prices amid Asian demand - increased on
the previous month.
* Cargoes loading in December have yet to fully sell out,
with at least around two still seeking buyers.
NIGERIA
* Attempts by Nigeria to get a new baseline for its oil
production under the current OPEC+ oil supply cut pact appeared
to make little progress in a meeting of the producer group.
* Africa's top exporter has been asking to exclude its
Agbami oil grade from the reductions by designating it
condensate instead of crude oil, but fellow producers advised
member countries to adhere to current curbs and not seek new
ones. * Prices for light, sweet Nigerian oil continued to ebb amid
robust U.S. competition and poor margins in Europe, where new
lockdown measures have cut into demand.
* Traders estimated sale prices for Bonny Light and Qua Iboe
at a slight discount to dated Brent.
