LONDON, Sept 10 (Reuters) - Traders awaited the results of
several tenders as cargoes for October export were clearing from
most West African producers with the exception of the major glut
from Nigeria.
* Indonesia's Pertamina, India's IOC and Uruguay's Ancap all
closed their buy tenders for which West African crude is
eligible, with Total possibly placing some crude to India.
* Spot cargoes from Angola's Sonangol, as well as Djeno and
Doba crude from Congo and Chad had largely cleared, with sale
prices among their lowest since spring - with the latter two
varieties selling lately for below dated Brent minus $1.
* A glut of Nigerian crude continued to loom amid lackluster
gasoline cracks and little economic incentive for floating
storage onto Suezmaxes, as has been lately been seen in the
market for VLCC tankers of some non-West African crude.
* At least around 40 cargoes of Nigerian crude remain for
export for September and October.
* Most offers for lighter Nigerian crude remained at dated
Brent positive though traders expected Bonny Light and Qua Iboe
to likely change hands close to as low as dated Brent minus
fifty cents.
