GameSquare Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:GAME) will host a livestream on July 29 at 12:00 p.m. ET to discuss its cryptocurrency treasury strategy, according to a company statement.
The livestream will feature GameSquare CEO Justin Kenna alongside three crypto industry figures: Ryan Zurrer of Dialectic AG, Robert Leshner of Superstate, and Rhydon Lee of Goff Capital. The discussion will focus on the company’s plans to scale its Ethereum treasury to $250 million.
GameSquare recently partnered with Dialectic and acquired a CryptoPunk digital asset called the Cowboy Ape. The company stated these moves reflect its strategy to integrate cryptocurrency operations with its existing digital media business.
The media and entertainment company operates FaZe Clan, a gaming organization, and provides services including creative agencies, technology solutions, and content development targeting younger demographics. GameSquare said it launched a blockchain-native Ethereum treasury management program designed to generate yield and improve capital efficiency.
The livestream can be accessed through the company’s investor relations website and will address what the company describes as its approach to cryptocurrency treasury management compared to other public companies pursuing similar strategies.
GameSquare was founded in 2020 and operates what it calls one of the largest gaming media networks in North America. The company stated its cryptocurrency activities represent an extension of its existing digital-focused business model.
