Asian shares fell on Tuesday, following a volatile Wall
Street session as weak economic indicators and an
intensifying Sino-U.S. trade war inflamed concerns about
global growth, supporting safe-haven assets such as

WORLD OIL PRICES
Oil prices were pressured on Tuesday by an economic slowdown
that has started to impact fuel consumption, although some
support came from a Saudi Arabian statement that consensus
was emerging with other producers over extending supply

SOUTH AFRICA MARKETS
South Africa's rand firmed on Monday, as a weakening dollar
provided many emerging currencies with some breathing space,
while stocks also gained. OIL/OANDO
A federal court in Lagos on Monday blocked Nigeria's
financial watchdog from replacing Oando's chief executive
and taking other action against the oil firm, pending
further hearings on the case, according to a court document
seen by Reuters. MARKETS
The Kenyan shilling KES= held steady against the dollar on
Monday with inflows from non governmental organisations and
diaspora remittances matching dollar demand from merchandise
