Investing.com -- Airbus Helicopters Inc. has been awarded a $39,834,430 contract from the U.S. Navy to provide logistic support services for five UH-72A helicopters.

The firm-fixed-price indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will support helicopters owned by the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School in Patuxent River, Maryland, according to the Navy announcement.

Under the agreement, the Grand Prairie, Texas-based company will provide maintenance support services and equipment, including sustaining engineering. Work will be performed in Patuxent River and is expected to be completed in July 2030.

The Navy is funding the contract with fiscal 2025 funds from multiple sources: $20,952,910 from operation and maintenance funds, $8,365,230 from research, development, test and evaluation funds, and $10,516,289 from aircraft procurement funds.
