Bank of America just raised its EUR/USD forecast
Investing.com-- Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) will open its third official store in India in early-September, with a new outlet in the South Indian city of Bengaluru, Karnataka, the company said on Thursday.
Apple said on its website that the store will be operational from September 2, just days before the widely-anticipated launch of the tech giant’s next series of smartphones, the iPhone 17 line.
The store will be Apple’s third official retail outlet in India, after it opened stores in capital New Delhi and financial capital Mumbai over the past year.
India has emerged as a rapidly growing market for Apple in recent years, with the company also moving a bulk of its iPhone production to the South Asian country. India is now Apple’s fourth-largest market for iPhones as of end-2024, with IDC data showing the company shipped over 12 million units in the country in 2024.
The threat of increased U.S. trade tariffs on India– of as much as 50%-- has also done little to deter Apple’s plans to build more devices in India.
The company’s upcoming iPhone 17 series will be manufactured in India, recent reports showed.
