Investing.com - US stock futures were trading within a tight range during Thursday's evening deals, following a mixed session for major benchmark averages as investors brace for key employment data due later in Friday's trade.
By 6:50pm ET (10:50pm GMT) Dow Jones Futures and Nasdaq 100 Futures were flat while S&P 500 Futures eased 0.1%.
In extended deals, Levi Strauss & Co Class A (NYSE:LEVI) dipped 1.4% after the company reported Q3 EPS of $0.28 versus $0.27 expected on revenues of $1.5 billion versus $1.54 billion expected. The company forecasted FY2023 EPS in the range of $1.10-$1.20 versus $1.12 expected.
Aehr Test Systems (NASDAQ:AEHR) shed 12.1%, reporting Q3 EPS of $0.18 versus $0.16 expected, while revenues were reported at $20.6 million versus $19.23 million expected.
Ahead in Friday's trade, market participants will be monitoring key jobs data including average hourly earnings, nonfarm payrolls, participation rate and unemployment rate, as well as a speech from the Fed's Waller.
During Thursday's regular trades, the Dow Jones Industrial Average finished flat at 33,119.6, while the S&P 500 and NASDAQ Composite slipped 0.1% apiece to 4,258.2 and 13,219.8 respectively.
On the bond markets, United States 10-Year rates remained little changed below 16-year highs of 4.721%.
