It is managed by State Street Global Advisors Limited. The fund invests in the fixed income markets of Euro Zone. It uses derivatives such as swaps and takes short positions in DVOLX EUR Forward Contracts and long positions in Deutsche Bank EONIA Total Return Index, which is a daily rolled deposit earning EONIA (Euro Over Night Index Average). The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the Deutsche Bank Euro Interest Rates Volatility Short Total Return Index, by employing synthetic replication methodology. It was formerly known as db x-trackers II - Euro Interest Rates Volatility Short Total Return Index ETF. db x-trackers II - Euro Interest Rates Volatility Short UCITS ETF was formed on March 23, 2009 and is domiciled in Luxembourg.
