For its currency portion, it uses forwards to invest in the foreign currencies against the U.S. dollar. The fund benchmarks the performance of its portfolio against the BofA Merrill Lynch 1-3 Year Trade-Weighted Global Government Index. It employs proprietary research to create its portfolio.
