The fund seeks to invest in the stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. It invests in the stocks of large-cap companies. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the S&P/NZX 50 Portfolio Index, by investing in the stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index. It was formerly known as NZX 50 Portfolio Index Fund. Smartshares NZ Top 50 ETF was formed on October 15, 2004 and is domiciled in New Zealand.
