Prior to joining Geneva Advisors, which became part of CIBC in 2017, John joined William Blair & Company in 1994 and was admitted to the partnership in 1998, making him one of the youngest partners in the history of William Blair. John is an active alumnus of the University of Michigan, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in economics. John also spent two years at the International School of Geneva in Geneva, Switzerland.
