Mr. Dondero has over 30 years of experience investing in credit and equity markets and has helped pioneer credit asset classes. Prior to founding Highland Capital Management in 1993, Mr. Dondero served as Chief Investment Officer of Protective Life’s GIC subsidiary and helped grow the business between 1989 and 1993. His portfolio management experience includes mortgage-backed securities, investment grade corporates, leveraged bank loans, high-yield bonds, emerging market debt, real estate, derivatives, preferred stocks and common stocks. From 1985 to 1989, he managed in fixed income funds for American Express. Mr. Dondero received a BS in Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from the University of Virginia, and is a Certified Managerial Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Biography Mr. McLochlin is a Managing Director of HCMFA’s dedicated equity funds. Prior to joining HCMFA in July 2009, Mr. McLochlin spent five years as the Sector Manager responsible for Technology and Telecom at Ranger Investments. Prior to Ranger, Mr. McLochlin spent three years as a Senior Analyst for private equity firms Dubilier & Company and Saunders, Karp & Megrue, where he focused on analyzing, structuring and executing leveraged buyouts of middle market companies. Mr. McLochlin began his career as an investment banking analyst with Morgan Stanley. Mr. McLochlin received an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. from Princeton University.

Biography Michael Gregory is a CIO and Global Head of Highland Alternative Investors at Highland in addition to Managing Director and Head of Healthcare Credit and Healthcare Long/ Short Equity investment strategies. In 2006, he founded Cummings Bay Healthcare Fund, a healthcare hedge fund that is currently in the seventh year of operations and became an affiliate of Highland in 2010. Mr. Gregory also worked as a Partner at Sands Point Capital Management LLC, managing a dedicated healthcare equity hedge fund. Mr. Gregory holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management, having completed a highly specialized joint program in healthcare within the Yale Schools of Medicine, Management and Public Policy. He holds a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, lecturer at Yale University, and frequent guest on CNBC, Fox Business and Morningstar.

Biography David Carlson is a Senior Managing Director of State Street Global Advisors, a division of State Street Bank and Trust Company, (“SSGA”) and Portfolio Manager and Chief Investment Officer for the Fundamental U.S. Equity team. Mr. Carlson joined SSGA through its acquisition of GE Asset Management Incorporated (“GEAM”) in July 2016. Mr. Carlson joined GEAM in 1982 as an equity analyst on the US Equity team. While at GEAM, Mr. Carlson has held a variety of positions in US Equities including industry analyst, generalist, portfolio manager and CIO of US Equities.
