Biography Jeff Donlon is the Managing Director of Manning & Napier’s Global Strategies Group and a member of the Firm’s Non-U.S. Equity Core Team. As Managing Director of the Global Strategies Group, Jeff is responsible for leading a group of analysts that perform top-down research on countries outside of the U.S. Research generated by the Global Strategies Group provides input to the Firm’s global overview and is shared with bottom-up equity analysts to inform investment opportunities in specific countries, sectors, and industries across the globe. Jeff is part of the portfolio management team responsible for voting on stock recommendations made for our bottom-up, non-U.S. equity investment strategies. Jeff has been with Manning & Napier since 1998, learning the Firm’s research philosophies and strategies through his progression from research assistant and associate positions, to research analyst and, ultimately, managing director and portfolio management team positions. His experience with the Firm’s research disciplines is vast, having spent time in a variety of sector groups, including Capital Goods and Materials, Consumer, and Technology Groups, as well as an initial assignment with what is now known as the Global Strategies Group. Prior to his current roles, Jeff was Managing Director of the Technology Group, a leadership position he held for more than ten years during which he managed a team of research analysts, associates, and assistants focused on bottom-up equity research in the Technology sector. He also has more than ten years experience voting on stocks for Manning & Napier’s bottom-up equity and multi-asset class portfolios. Jeff earned his BS in Finance from Canisius College and his MBA from Duke University. He is also a CFA charterholder.
