Prior to joining TimesSquare in 2016, Mr. Somek was a Portfolio Manager, Chief Investment Officer and Partner at Caravel Management, LLC where he focused on Emerging and Frontier Markets. At Caravel, he managed both the long-only and long/short Emerging and Frontier Market strategies. Prior to Caravel, he was a Senior Investment Research Analyst at Goldman Sachs Asset Management focusing on Asia Pacific ex-Japan stock investments for various strategies including Emerging Markets. Mr. Somek’s prior experience also includes Research Analyst roles at Clearbridge Advisors and Credit Suisse First Boston.He holds a B.S. in Economics and Finance from the Université de Paris IX Dauphine, Paris, France as well as a M.A. in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis University. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the New York Society of Security Analysts. Mr. Somek is a Board Member of the Emerging Markets Investors Alliance. He is fluent in Turkish and French.

Biography	David Shea is a Portfolio Manager for the Copper Rock Global Equities team. He joined the firm in November of 2008 and is responsible for original investment research, stock selection and portfolio construction. Prior to Copper Rock, David was a Portfolio Manager on the Global Growth Equity team at Putnam Investments. Before that, he was a Director in the Quantitative Research Group at Citigroup Asset Management. In addition, David was a Senior Vice President at Independence Investment Associates, and a Vice President with Boston International Advisors Inc. He started his career with MFS in the investment systems division.
