Prior to that he served as Director of Research and as an equity analyst at Perritt Capital, and as a portfolio manager with Windgate Wealth Management. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in finance from DePaul University, and he also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.

Biography	Perritt is president and chairman of IIS and President of Perritt Capital Management, Inc. He founded it in 1987. Previously, he was the first executive director of the American Association of Individual Investors from 1980 to 1983 and an associate professor at DePaul University from 1980 to 1982. He has taught courses in investment and finance at several other colleges as well, including Babson College and the University of Miami. He is the editor of two newsletters and author of eight books on various investment topics.
