Biography | Mr. Appleson serves as a member of the PT Asset Management, LLC's portfolio management team, and is co-portfolio manager of select separately managed accounts. Mr. Appleson is responsible for the portfolio construction, management, trading, research, and risk management of these municipal bond accounts. Prior to joiningPT Asset Management, LLC in July 2013, Mr. Appleson worked for the New York Federal Reserve Bank. At the Federal Reserve, Mr. Appleson built and evaluated macroeconomic models to stress test banks’ investment portfolios and advised policy and supervision groups on various regulatory issues. From 2008 to 2012, Mr. Appleson worked for Alliance Bernstein, where he held a number of positions in fixed income, including a High Yield Research Analyst for its $30B municipal bond platform. Mr. Appleson earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Touro College and received his MBA from University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business with high honors. Biography | Lee Friedman, CFA, is a Principal and a Portfolio Manager for PGIM Fixed Income’s Municipal Bond Team. Mr. Friedman assists in managing tax-exempt and taxable municipal assets for retail funds, institutional clients, and affiliated accounts. Previously, he was an Associate for PGIM Fixed Income’s Credit Research Group where he covered higher education, not-for-profits (501c3), state and local government obligations, and transportation bonds, and also supported the senior municipal credit analysts. Previously, Mr. Friedman held positions in both Prudential’s Asset Liability and Risk Management Group and PGIM Fixed Income, where he supported the attribution and forecasting processes. Biography | The founder of RSW Investments launched his career in 1985 managing municipal bond mutual funds for Merrill Lynch Asset Management. In the early 1990’s he was tapped by Van Kampen American Capital to start their Municipal Bond Individually Managed Account program. Highly successful, this program now accounts for over $5 billion in managed tax free assets. In the late 1990’s Rob joined Springfield International, where he pioneered one of the first hedge funds dedicated to utilizing sophisticated municipal bond arbitrage strategies. Rob moved to Prudential Investment Management in 2000 to manage their flagship National Municipal Bond Fund. A year later, Rob assumed the management responsibility for all of the municipal bond portfolios totaling approximately $4 billion. Employing strategies developed over a decade ago, he also launched, managed, and marketed a separate account municipal bond program. Rob received a B.S. in Accounting from St. John’s University. | ||

Biography | Evan Lamp is a Managing Member of 16th Amendment Advisors LLC. He has over 20 years experience as a municipal bond strategist and investor. Prior to co-founding the firm, Mr. Lamp was Managing Director and Head of the Municipal Bond Group at Prudential Investment Management in New York. At Prudential he was responsible for over $5 billion in municipal assets in mutual funds and insurance company portfolios. Before being recruited to Prudential, Mr. Lamp was an investment banker in the CMBS group at Merrill Lynch following his role as a municipal bond strategist at Merrill Lynch. As Merrill Lynch’s senior municipal strategist, he was chosen by institutional accounts to the First Team of Institutional Investor's 1995, 1996, and 1997 All-America Fixed-Income Research Teams for Municipal Strategy.
