Biography John W. Thompson has served as President of Thompson IM Funds, Inc. since 2009 and as a Director of the Funds since 1987. He also served as its Chief Executive Officer from 2005 to March 2015. He has been the President of TIM since 2004 and its Chairman since March 2015. Until January 2004, Mr. Thompson was President and Treasurer of Thompson, Plumb & Associates, Inc. Mr. Thompson has a B.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin and a M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a CFA charterholder.

Biography Mr. Thompson founded Vilas Capital Management, LLC in 2010, and has been its Chief Executive Officer since inception. Prior to founding the Advisor in 2010, Mr. Thompson was a founder, Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer for Mortgage Assurance Corporation in 2009. Mr. Thompson was Vice President and Portfolio Manager of Thompson Investment Management from 2004-2009 and Portfolio Manager of Thompson Plumb & Associates from 1996-2003. Mr. Thompson was an officer of the Thompson Plumb Funds, Inc. from 1996-2009 and was President and COO from 2006-2009. Mr. Thompson was associate portfolio manager or co-portfolio manager of the Thompson Plumb Growth Fund from 1998-2009 and co-portfolio manager of the Thompson Plumb Bond Fund from 2007-2009. He received a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and an MBA with concentrations in Finance and Economics from the University of Chicago. His investment career began in 1993 and he has been actively involved in the management of mutual funds since 1994. Mr. Thompson is also a CFA charterholder.

Biography Mr. Plumb is a Principal and the founder of Wisconsin Capital Management, LLC, since January 2004, a firm that traces its origins back over thirty years. He has over thirty years of experience as an investment professional including twenty years as the lead manager of two balanced mutual funds, the Thompson Plumb Balanced Fund and the Dreyfus Premier Balanced Opportunity Fund. Mr. Plumb earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1975 and also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
