EUR/USD weakness unlikely to stay as dollar bears to return: BofA
Investing.com -- Swedish defense company Saab announced the development of a new missile specifically designed to target small drones, addressing a growing battlefield threat.
The missile, named Nimbrix, is the first dedicated to countering unmanned aerial systems (UAS) with a range of up to five kilometers, the company said Thursday. The weapon features an active seeker to track targets and a warhead capable of engaging drone swarms using an air-burst mode.
"Nimbrix is our answer to the unmanned aerial threats which have escalated in the last few years. It is cost-effective which is critical given the proliferation of UASs on the battlefield," said Stefan Oeberg, Head of Saab’s business unit Missile Systems.
The company plans to begin first deliveries of the Nimbrix missile in 2026.
