Chams Holding Company Plc, together with its subsidiaries, provides identity management, payment collections, and transactional systems and solutions in Nigeria. The company operates in three segments: Identity Management and Solutions; Payments, Collections and Transactional Systems; and ICT Training. It engages in the identity management activities, such as prometrics and biometrics identification with applications in the financial, healthcare, corporate, and other public fields; and provision of Smart and Chip Card, a technologies for card personalization, identity card enrolment logistic, and access control. It also offers payments systems that involve building, developing, and maintenance of ICT infrastructures; ChamsAccess, which sells and maintains Dermalog machines, fingerprint scanners, BVN machines, and data card products; ChamsSwitch to provide e-payment infrastructure support to other e-payment platforms; Card Centre to design, print, and personalize various types of cards products; and Chams Mobile, a mobile payment platform. In addition, the company provides business solutions, biometric data capture, e-voting platform, and business process outsourcing, contract, and supplies. Further, it offers Blumox, a community of reviewed experts; Confirm Me, a platform for identity, credit, and credential confirmation; and Asset Finance Solution, digital asset financing platform. Additionally, the company provides Kegow, a mobile money solution; I’m Alive, digital facial recognition service for pensioners; Pension Central, a platform for remitting pension data between companies and PFAs; Argone, a retail service provider for the sales, maintenance, and repairs of phone and computer accessories; and Naira.com, a payment & collection platform, as well as VOTA. The company was formerly known as Chams Plc and changed its name to Chams Holding Company Plc in May 2022. Chams Holding Company Plc was incorporated in 1985 and is based in Lagos, Nigeria.
