Savills appoints Nick Sanderson as new CFO, Susie Bell as IR director

LONDON - Savills plc (LSE:SVS) announced Thursday the appointment of Nick Sanderson as Group Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director, with his start date expected in Spring 2026.

Sanderson, a chartered accountant, previously served as Chief Financial Officer and later Chief Financial & Operating Officer at Great Portland Estates plc, a FTSE 250 central London REIT, since July 2011. Before that, he was a Partner and Head of Real Estate Corporate Finance Advisory at Deloitte, following ten years in real estate investment banking, most recently as a managing director at Nomura. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Arthur Andersen in 1998.

Sanderson will take over from Simon Shaw, who will become Group Chief Executive Officer on January 1, 2026, when current CEO Mark Ridley retires, as previously announced in April 2025.

The company also appointed Susie Bell to the newly created position of Investor Relations Director, starting in October. Bell joins from Vistry Group plc, where she served as Group Investor Relations Director. Her previous experience includes investor relations roles at Barratt Developments and EMI Group.

"Nick has an impressive and extensive track record in both the public and private real estate sector and will be a great partner for me and the broader management team as we drive the next stage of the Group’s development," said Shaw in a statement contained in the press release.

Savills is a global real estate services provider listed on the London Stock Exchange.
