  • According to Aptos, partnering with STAN will take online gaming to the next level.
  • STAN expects Aptos’ qualities to be the game-changer for its high-volume digital collectible and gaming needs.

The layer-1 blockchain project Aptos has partnered with STAN, a pioneering gaming force in India, to improve scalability and performance in the esports community. In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), Aptos noted that the partnership aims to take online gaming to the next level.

In an earlier report, STAN claimed that the partnership with Aptos would unveil an esports and influencer fandom platform. In addition, the online gaming platform noted that both companies will team up to redefine gaming engagement for India’s 500 million gamers.

Partnering with Aptos would enable Web3 capabilities and introduce a decentralized gaming experience to STAN users, according to the report. The gaming company expects the move to unlock unprecedented opportunities for players and creators within its ecosystem.

As a leader in India’s gaming environment, STAN boasts one million Monthly Active Users (MAU), with an impressive 250,000 users actively engaging in Web3 activities. Such a user base confirms the gaming project’s resonance with the Indian gaming community.

Last January, STAN reportedly raised $2.7 million in a funding round, to which investors like Aptos Labs, Pix Capital, Maelstrom Fund, GFR Fund, and General Catalyst contributed. That marked a second funding round by the gaming company, with the initial round happening in May 2022, when STAN raised $2.5 million.

A STAN spokesperson who praised Aptos Labs’ expertise described the blockchain project as an expert in scalability, security, and performance. Those are qualities he expects to be game-changers for STAN’s high-volume digital collectible and gaming needs.

According to the spokesperson, Aptos Labs’ cutting-edge technology and commitment to the Indian gaming community will further solidify the partnership as a win-win for both parties. He expressed excitement over the ability to unlock the full potential of Web3 gaming in collaboration with Aptos.
